Three of those credits will be in general studies, and seven will be in nursing. This gives the student the opportunity to receive credit for their previous educational studies. Once the student has completed all the educational requirements, they can apply to take the NCLEX-RN examination. Applications can be submitted two weeks before graduation and submitted to the Hawaii Board of Nursing. The application will be reviewed by the Board and the student can expect to receive a determination within three to five weeks of graduation. Once approved, the student can register for the exam with the exam administrators and take the NCLEX-RN at the location of their choice. |
