BSN Nursing Programs Information

A Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is a valuable asset to have. The BSN degree allows one to pursue a career in nursing by preparing the student to take the NCLEX-RN examination to become a licensed registered nurse. However, a BSN degree can also be utilized in the open market to obatin many different employment positions that require a minimum Bachelor’s level education. One can also build upon their BSN degree with a Master’s program in Nursing or any other field with a completion time of an additional 18-24 months. BSN programs are fairly common but it is wise to be selective and thoughtful when choosing which program to attend. The list of BSN programs on our site is organized according to US state and all program listings have full accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). It is recommended that prospective students read more about the individual program offerings for each school of interest and also consider the reputation of the university when making their decision.
